OPS has aggressively claimed the Nog Kesri system in the Corewards Periphery, purging AFT forces amid a massive multi-faction fleet presence (DTR, DEN, FEL, FET, FLZ, GTT, MOH, OPS, and PIR). Factions are hunting for a rumored hidden MEK base or rift point, but so far only a ship graveyard and one PIR sensor ship have been found. Meanwhile, PIR activity continues with attacks in Kasmer and Teller, while GTT is cracking down hard on small ships in their territory.


***MEK IN THE SPUR?
After a flood of distorted combat-logs leaked from the Nog Kesri system, our field-runner Ray Diation was despatched to investigate the static. While in transit, public comm-channels flickered with high-priority overrides: OPS has unexpectedly claimed the system, aggressively scrubbing AFT positions from Xanir in a calculated tactical purge.


Dropping from jump the system was thick with more than just the asteroids in Rings 14 and 15. Nog Kesri is crawling with high-mass signatures. If it’s not a sensor-picket ship scanning for heat-blooms, it’s battleships or destroyers burning hard for their next waypoint. The local net is screaming with scuttlebutt. Reports of battles involving: FET, DEN, GTT, AFT, OPS, and the ever-present PIR cockroaches.

Unnamed sources confirm that no fewer than eight affiliations are burning their stellars to be here. The objective? A whispered rumor of a MEK base or a localized rift-entry point hidden somewhere in the system.

We understand that despite the massive hardware presence, the "big find" remains elusive. So far, the only trophies are a sprawling ship graveyard—stripped to the struts by pirates—and a lone PIR sensor ship hugging the shadows of an asteroid in ring 15.

When asked directly about the MEK threat and if their is a wider threat to the peripheries the silence from those involved has been louder than a railgun slug. Official channels are also flat-lining when asked about the wider MEK threat level.

While the suits remain reticent, we urge you to consider keeping your shields up and your signatures low in the darker corners of the Peripheries.

The Nog Kesri system in the Corewards Periphery has been claimed away from CIV ownership to that of the OPS. Upon taking charge the OPS swiftly dispatched forces to remove AFT from the system***

***GTT winding down on spy ships.
The GTT have declared that any ship 10 hulls and under will be shot on sight in all GTT held systems including Solo. Sporadic reports suggest the DTR may have forced the GTT's hand***

A GTT platform has been boarded and taken by PIR forces in the system of Kasmer***

***PIR in Teller
Further Pirate activity reported in the system of Teller where a reported 9 Felini outposts were swamped by PIR forces before being summarily destroyed by the GTT***
